Service Description:

The objective of this tracking database is to track the Maryland Five Million Trees planting program in Maryland. The goal of this program is to plant and maintain five million trees in the state of Maryland between July 1,2021, and June 30 , 2031. This program is administered by Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and prepared for the Technical Advisement Committee by Maryland Environmental Service (MES).

The final products of this database are a database on the MDE SQL server containing both restricted and publicly submitted data (https://mde.geodata.md.gov/mdedata/rest/services/FMT/FMT/FeatureServer). In addition, a rest service containing the publicly submitted data, and aggregated private data is to be published and updated online. The database consists of a polygon layer {FiveMT_Polygon} as well as two tables {tree_type} and {tree_maintenance}. All of these layers are related using the [Globalid] field related to the [ParentID] field.
