 "serviceDescription": "\n\nEffluent from wastewater treatment plants is one of the top three major contributors of nutrients entering the Bay (urban and agricultural runoffs are the other two).  MDE's Bay Restoration Fund was enacted to create a dedicated fund, financed by wastewater treatment plant users, to upgrade Maryland\u2019s wastewater treatment plants with Enhanced Nutrient Removal (ENR) technology to improve the quality of water discharged into the Bay and it's tributaries.  This map presents the current status of the ENR upgrade for each of the major WWTP's within Maryland's portion of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.  Please see MDE's Bay Restoration Fund web page for detailed information regarding the (ENR) Program.\n\nPlease read below for instructions for using this map.\n\nMDE's ENR status is displayed on a basic web map allowing the user the ability to pan, zoom in/out, and view selected data for each facility.  Instructions for using this map are as follows;\n\nFor information regarding the ENR Program, click on the \u2018Details\u2019 tab at the upper Left of the map.  To see the current status of the ENR facilities, click on the \u2018Legend\u2019 tab.  The search window, indicated by the magnifying glass, allows the user to enter an address and zoom to that location.  Zooming in/out is also accomplished by +/- buttons on the left hand side of the map or by using the scroll knob on a mouse.  The zoom in/out is based on the center of the map as seen on the screen.  To pan, place the cursor over the map, hold down the left mouse button, move the map to the desired location.\n\nTo see information regarding a facility, click on a map symbol for that facility.  A pop-up window will appear displaying facility information.  At the bottom of the pop-up window is a \"zoom to\" link.  Click here to automatically zoom closer to that facility.  Click this link again to zoom in even closer.  If the pop-up window does not display properly, adjust the position of the map by panning to bring the entire pop-up into view.  You may also zoom in/out by using the mouse's scroll wheel.\n\nTo view a larger version of the map and to access additional features/tools, click on the \"View Larger Map\" link found below the map.
